Throughout the years, Andrei has focused on helping individuals to improve their mental health and to work on alleviating their personal difficulties. He uses a psychoanalytical approach to help people explore how the unconscious mind affects current relationships and patterns of thought, emotion and behaviour, especially in the context of continually experiencing loss and traumatic events.
Andrei has been helping people to become aware of the underlying sources of their difficulties, intellectually and emotionally, and to develop coping skills that would allow them to deal with the realities of their life situation. He offers a talking therapy which rather than trying to get rid of the problem, allows individuals to come to understand the experiences which have shaped their lives and are affecting their ability to deal with current difficulties. The purpose of this insight is to help them to bring about major change on their whole life perspective.
Areas of expertise (include, but not limited to): trauma, loss, grief, bereavement, anxiety, self-harm, addiction, eating disorders, stress, depression, gender issues, sexual identity, relationship difficulties, phobias, chronic fatigue, loneliness and isolation.
