What is ADHD
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterised by problems with attention and hyperactivity.
It can effect both adults and children.
Signs you may be suffering from ADHD
Having a short attention span and being easily distracted
Making careless mistakes- for example, in school work or homework
Appearing unable to concentrate or listen and unable to carry out instructions.
Appearing forgetful or losing things
Being unable to finish tasks that are tedious boring or repetitive
Constantly moving from one activity to another
Inability to organise: study, housework or general jobs or tasks
Getting bored easily
Being unable to sit still, especially in quiet situations,
Being unable to focus
Excessive physical movement and Constantly fidgeting
Excessive talking and interrupting conversations
Acting without thinking
Little or no sense of danger leading to taking risks
